Dr. Rasti received the BSc and MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering) from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. In addition, he received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2019. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, as a Faculty member in 2021. His current research interests include traditional and non-traditional machining processes, design and test of machine tools, and CADCAM.
